Angela's Cranberry Sauce
What are the holidays without cranberry sauce? Angela's cranberry sauce is my favorite. Pair it with scones or your favorite biscuits. Don't tell your friends how easy it is to make, you deserve a little praise.
Ingredients

1 12 oz bag of fresh or frozen (thawed) cranberries
1/2 cup dry red wine
1/2 cup orange juice
1/3 cup water
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/3 cup of honey
1 tsp grated fresh ginger
1 tsp orange zest
1 tsp fresh lemon zest
1 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp salt
1 medium cinnamon stick
1 tsp sugar (optional)

Directions
Place all ingredients in a saucepan
bring to a boil while stirring frequently
Reduce heat to a med-low and simmer for 10-15 minutes
When the cranberries start popping
Remove from Heat
Remove cinnamon stick and chill
makes 2-2 1/3 cups
